Lillian M. Huecker

Lillian M. Huecker, 96, of Fond du Lac, died peacefully on Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born in the Town of Empire on March 3, 1922, a daughter of Benjamin and May (Bemis) Moon. On February 3, 1944, Lillian married Harvey Huecker in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on November 15, 2002.

Lillian enjoyed reading, cooking, Country Western music and especially dancing. She was a member of the “We Love to Dance Club” until it was too difficult for her to get around. Lillian loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren. For the last six years, Lillian made her home at Lake View Place and cherished the friendships she made there.

Survivors include two children, Robert (Sandy) Huecker of Lomira and Alice (Mike) Miller of West Bend; four grandchildren, Jodi (Brian) Breit of West Bend, Robert Miller (Sara) of West Bend, Alicia Notti of Anchorage, AK and Nikki Tilden of Wasilla, AK; seven great-grandchildren, Charles, Maxwell, Franklin, Justin, Ella, Maggie and George; and a sister, Myrtle Sabel. She is further survived by Andi Foley and Jenny Stuckel, whom she cared for and was privileged to consider her granddaughters; nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two sisters, Hazel Bogus and Ellen Makus; and six brothers, Arthur Moon, Walter Moon, Lyle Moon, Benjamin Moon, Victor Moon and Lester Moon.

Memorials to the Church of Peace Building Fund are appreciated.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Church of Peace, 158 S. Military Rd. in Fond du Lac. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM with Rev. Jack Kraaz officiating. Private burial in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery will take place on Monday, September 24, 2018.
