Lisa A. Mace

Lisa Ann Mace, 51, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020. She was born on April 24, 1969 to Jack and Judy Hipple in Upland, California.

Lisa worked for the State of Wisconsin in the Department of Corrections. She worked as a school secretary at Oshkosh Correctional and as a secretary in the maintenance department at Kettle Moraine Correctional. Lisa loved to travel and she loved her trips to Florida. Her best trip ever was to Mexico with big sister Marcy and her soon to be born son Grayson. Grayson meant the world to Lisa; she always said, “I love you to the Moon and back, Bubba.” Lisa also loved spending time with her friends and family telling “off color” stories. Her infectious laugh will be missed by everyone. She had a soft heart and would do whatever she could for those in need. Lisa loved and adored her nieces and nephews; always asking for updates and staying in close contact.

Even through Lisa’s health ailments, she persevered and continued through life as she needed to do. The struggles she had did not stop her from enjoying life and putting the needs of others first.

Lisa is survived by her son, Grayson; her parents, Jack and Judy; one brother, Marc (Susan) Hipple; one sister, Marcy Farina; nieces and nephews, Douglas (Beth) Hipple, Michael Hipple, Mackenzie Farina and Callen Farina; great nephew Griffin Hipple; her aunt, Kay Alter; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Glenn Gilmour.

Due to the current pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date in Spring of 2021. Cremation has taken place.
