Lois Ann Immel

Lois Ann Immel (née Langkau), 78, of Dotyville, died Friday, October 8, 2021 at Villa Loretto in Mt. Calvary. She was born in Oshkosh on March 18, 1943, a daughter of Lawrence Walter and Beatrice Ann Langkau (née Robinson). Lois graduated from Horace Mann High School in 1960. On August 25, 1962, she married Milton Douglas “Doug” Immel at Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac.

Lois and Doug served as co-general leaders of the Forest Hills 4-H Club for many years. Lois also enjoyed serving as the 4-H arts and crafts leader both at the club and county levels. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and her dogs. Lois is remembered for her quiet, kind spirit and her deep love and pride for her children and grandchildren.

Lois is survived by her husband of 59 years, Doug; and her three children, Michael (Amy) Immel of Eden, James Immel of Fond du Lac, and Tami (Gary) Draxler of Slinger. Also left to cherish her memory are Lois’ seven grandchildren, Matthew (Fiancé Lauren Molloy) and Amanda Immel, Cassie (Jen) and Kyle Immel, Kayla (Tim) Simon, Isabelle and Emily Draxler; and five great -grandchildren, Bryson Immel, Aubrey, Emma and Ben Simon, and Odin Immel. She is further survived by her four siblings, Jean (DIck) Kunde of Berlin, Betty (Dave) Klahn of Fond du Lac, Mary Michels of North Fond du Lac and John Langkau of Van Dyne; three sisters-in-law, Cheryl Langkau of Oakfield, Nina Krueger, and Mary Soll of Fond du Lac; a brother-in-law, Gary Nimmer of Fond du Lac; and many other nieces, nephews and family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her mother and father-in-law, Milton and Lucille Immel; a sister, Margie Nimmer; a brother, Lawrence (Larry) Langkau; sisters and brothers-in-law, Fritz and Naomi Krueger, Robert Krueger, Pete and Gladys Klaske.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM, Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with a Liturgy of the Word beginning at 6:30 PM. Entombment in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum at Ledgeview Memorial Park will take place Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
