Lois J. Martin

Lois J. Martin (Stinson), 93, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at The Woodlands Senior Park. She was born December 2, 1927 in Sterling, NE to the late Raymond and Vera (Rice) Stinson.

Lois was raised in Tecumseh, NE and graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1946.

She worked for over 20 years at Dr. Donald Dickinson’s Dental Office as the office manager, a job she loved dearly.

She will be remembered for being a spark plug; she never held back and would just tell you how it was. Most of all we will remember her for the Sunday picnics growing up, with her famous fried chicken and chocolate cake. She will also be remembered for the love and affection she had for her late dogs, Maggie and Frenchie.

Lois was a member of Luther Memorial Church and actively volunteered for many years.

Lois is survived by four children, Vicci (David) Ivers of Jupiter, FL, Doni Brooks (special friend, Michael Johnson) of Oshkosh, WI, Sandy (Bob) Wuest of Fond du Lac, WI and Stephanie Wachholz of Green Bay, WI; grandchildren, Casey (Kristin) Wuest, Chad Wuest, Gavin Wuest, Jessica (W) Mason, Jordan Ivers, Shauna (Cody) Walesh and Courtney Brooks; great-grandchildren, Adelyn and Kayson Wuest, Kennedy Wuest, Paislee Jo Wuest and Ruby Walesh.

She is further survived by a brother, Jack (Wilma) Stinson of Tecumseh, NE, sister, Pat Davis of Seattle, WA, and sister-in-law Norma Stinson of Tecumseh, NE, nieces and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Marge Geer, brothers Raymond “Dale,” Floyd, Don, Fred, Edgar and Ken Stinson.

Private services are scheduled for the family.
