Lola Myra Jones

On Monday, November 24, 2014 at 1 a.m. Jesus opened His arms
and embraced Lola saying, “Well done my good and faithful servant.”

Lola Myra Jones, daughter of Lester and Dorthea Stout
Georgeson, was born June 17, 1928 in the city of Plainfield, WI.  She was a graduate of Berlin High
School.  In 1946 she married William C.
Jones who would remain the love of her life for the next 54 years.  Together the Lord blessed them with a son, Robert
W. Jones.  Lola and William resided in
Waupun for many years and upon retirement moved to Mesa, AZ.  Lola was a past member of the Eastern Star of
Waupun, an active member of the Methodist Church in AZ, where she and her
husband were instrumental in creating the areas first food pantry.  She had a passion for helping those in need,
especially children, which was evident by her many mission trips around the
world.

She loved and was well loved by her many grandchildren:  Mary (Doug) Fulton of Scottsville, MI,
Mechelle (Rick) Landaal of Waupun, WI; Jackie Zuhlke of Markesan, WI, Becky
(Alberto) Lopez of Aurora, IL, and Shelly Smith of Arlington, TX.

Her love spread over five generations, touching the lives of
her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Lola was preceded in death by her parents; her husband,
William; her son, Robert; her sister, Virginia; and her grandson-in-law, John
Zuhlke.

A celebration of Lola’s life will be held privately with her
family.
