Louise A. Hafermann

Louise A. Hafermann, 87, formerly of Dundee, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday April 19, 2017 at the Beechwood Rest Home. She was born on March 23, 1930, the daughter of John and Althea (Laack) Brott. On October 3, 1953, Louise married Henry A. Hafermann at the Kohler United Church of Christ. Together they farmed the Pleasantview Family Farm. For 30 years, Louise also worked as a CNA/Activities Director at the Beechwood Rest Home. She is a member of New Horizon Church of Christ, was active in the Long Lake Youth Association, did commercial sign painting and personal artwork. Louise also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, word puzzles and loved candy, especially chocolates, but most of all she enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends. 



Survivors include her sons Steven (special friend Gina Pais), David (special friend Christy Dimka), Ronald (special friend Dawn Berg) and Mark (Susan) Hafermann, her grandchildren Kristine Hafermann, Carrie (Joe) Gerlach, Jodi Hafermann, Aaron (Carala) Hafermann, Amber Hafermann, Arick Hafermann, Adam Hafermann, Tara Hafermann, Elizabeth Hafermann, Ben (Jeanine) Hafermann, Tim Hafermann, Jenny (Donald) Neumann, Cynthia Hafermann, Derek Hafermann (special friend Leah Calder), Amanda Hafermann, Megan Cobb and Jamie Cobb, 13 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Norbert Dettmann, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 



She was preceded in death by her husband Henry, her twin sister Louella Dettmann, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Carl and Adeline Schellhaas. 


Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 23rd at 2:00 PM at New Horizon United Church of Christ, Boltonville (9663 Highway 144, Kewaskum). Rev. David Schlieter will officiate and burial will follow in Beechwood Cemetery. 





Visitation will be Sunday, April 23rd from 12:00 Noon until time of services at the CHURCH. 





In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to New Horizon Church. 



The family extends a special “Thank You” to the Random Lake Fire and Rescue Squad along with the staff and residents at Beechwood Rest Home. Louise enjoyed the excellent care she was given and made wonderful friendships.
