Lucille M. Zwicker

Lucille M. Zwicker, 84, of
Fond du Lac, died Sunday, September 4, 2016, at home.

 

She was born on September 8,
1931, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Benjamin and Hattie Schultz Beck.

 

On October 10, 1953, she
married her best friend and greatest joy, George L. Zwicker at St. Mary
Catholic Church, Fond du Lac.  He
preceded her in death on November 25, 2001.

 

She worked as an LPN for the
Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, Maple Manor (currently ManorCare Health Services),
Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, and Villa Loretto Nursing Home.

 

Lucille was a member of Holy
Family Parish.  She was an avid reader,
enjoyed gardening and antiques.  Her
greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren.

 

She is survived by six
children:  Mary Valtierra of Brighton,
Colorado, Barbara Zwicker, Mark Zwicker, Jane Zwicker, all of Fond du Lac, John
(fiancée, Robyn) Zwicker of Jacksonville, Florida, and Carolyn Martin of Tomah;
eight grandchildren:  Colleen (Bill)
Kluza, Richard Hauer, Heidi Martin, David Zwicker, Zachary Valtierra, Zoe
Valtierra, Rachel Zwicker, and Elizabeth Zwicker; four
great-grandchildren:  Ethan Hauer, London
Hauer, Sebastian Kluza, and Benjamin Kluza, and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Beck.

 

She was preceded in death by
her parents; her husband, George; a son-in-law, Ray Valtierra; three siblings:
Eugene Beck, Irene (Roy) Dohrman, and Marjorie (Darrell) Kimpel; and a brother-in-law,
Robert Zwicker.

 

VISITATION:  The visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory,
31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac, and on Friday, September 9, 2016, from
9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory.

 

SERVICE:  A Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated at
10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2016, at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel &
Crematory.

 

Burial will be in St. John’s
Cemetery, Byron.
