Luella M. Weise

Luella May Wiese, 93, of Fond
du Lac, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at Grancare Nursing
Home.

 

She was born on June 1, 1924,
the daughter of Lawrence O. and Carmen J. Elliott Hanson.  She was a graduate of Oakfield High School.  On May 9, 1960, she married Robert L. Wiese,
in Dubuque, IA.  He preceded her in death
on July 21, 2013.

 

She was a member of St.
Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Gleaner’s Society, as well as
Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion.

 

Luella was a perfectionist
and loved her home and her occupation.   Prior to owning her own business, she worked
at Charm Beauty Salon.  She was the
owner/operator of Fasionette Beauty Salon for approximately 30 years, and
retired in 1992.  After retirement she
worked part-time at Wegner Office Department Store.  She enjoyed watching Jeopardy, watching the
Packers play, and especially Aaron Rogers, and did not appreciate phone calls
interrupting her during the game.  Luella
took great pride in her home and loved her dog Keyling, sewing and working in
her garden.

 

She is survived by her
brother, Richard (Naomi) Hanson, of Warner Robins, Georgia; and many nieces and
nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by
her parents, her husband, her brothers: Dale, John, George; and her sister Shirley
Bartz.

 

At Luella’s request there
will be no visitation or public services.
