LuiseAnn H. Wachs

LuiseAnn H. Wachs

Following a courageous journey with Alzheimer’s, LuiseAnn Wachs, 82, joined her Savior in heaven on February 8, 2015

Luise was born on August 10, 1932 to Alfred and Evelyn Lenz. She was confirmed in her faith in 1946 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in West Bend and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Dundee for 63 years. She served faithfully as a member of the Ladies’ Aid for many years. She loved her Lord, her family and her friends and always took time to help and visit those in need.

Luise worked many years at a number of employers in the area and most notably as a nursing assistant for the retired sisters of St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport.

She loved fishing, boating, golfing, playing cards with her many dear friends and enjoyed going to Brewer games and spring training with her dear friend Hank Pieper. She also enjoyed cheering for the Packers. Luise was quick to laugh and smile, bringing joy and a positive spirit to all who knew her. She was known for racing her motorcycle and her lead foot on the accelerator.

Luise brought blessings as a Christian mother to her daughter Barb, her dear son-in-law Doug Knutzen and her beloved extended Pieper family of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she adored and who brought so much joy in her life.

Luise was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Otto Wachs in 1983.

A Christian funeral service will be held on Thursday February 12, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dundee (W494 E. Elm Street Campbellsport, WI 53010) at 11:00 am with visitation at the church from 9:00 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Waucousta Lutheran Grade School or St. Francis Home, Agnesian Healthcare Foundation.

The family wishes to express deep appreciation for the loving care provided to her from St. Francis Home, Agnesian Healthcare Hospice and her physicians. Thank you for your kindness, compassion and treating her as though she was a member of your family.
