Margaret Mary Shoulak

Margaret “Marge” Mary Shoulak of Fond du Lac passed away peacefully on November 4, 2021, surrounded by loving family at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac

Marge was born January 17, 1930, in Appleton, the daughter of Conrad and Mary (Gruentzel) Boehler. Marge worked at A. C. Nielsen Company for 15 years before moving to Appleton and working as a childcare provider. She retired in 2008 and moved back to Fond du Lac. She enjoyed family vacations and traveling, crossword puzzles, and her nightly ritual of watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Marge was a member of Holy Family Catholic Community-St. Mary’s. She enjoyed her special times with her son Jerry, including road trips around the area, making and enjoying meals together. He was her “Mr Fix it” and part time hair stylist with the smiley face.

Marge is survived by her children, LaVerne “Bunny” (David) Wagner, Jim (Judy) Shoulak, Joe Shoulak, Jeff (Phyllis) Shoulak, and Jerry Shoulak. She is further survived by grandchildren Scott Wagner, Becky (Jeff) Faul, Brian Wagner, Greg (Katie) Wagner, Jacob Shoulak, Sarah Shoulak, Joseph Shoulak and Ashley (Kyle) Henke; great grandchildren Kiersten (Joshua) Rutherford, Alexis, Calvin and Henry Faul, Layla and Quinn Wagner, and Luci Henke; and nieces and nephews.

Marge was preceded in death by her mother and father, brother Anthony “Tony” Boehler, sister Elizabeth “Betty” Cottrell, and former husband Eugene Shoulak.

Private services will be held at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, followed by entombment at Chapel of Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.

The family will be forever grateful to the staff of Woodlands Senior Park and SSM Health’s Hospice Home of Hope for their care of mom.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude’s Hospital to which Marge was a longtime contributor, or SSM Health’s Hospice Home of Hope.
