Marian Breaux

Marion (née Seibel) Breaux-Olivier accepted the Lord’s gentle offer and stepped
into Heaven on December 19th, 2018 at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond
du Lac. She was a spirited 88 years old.

Marion was born at home to Oscar
and Anna (née Krug) Seibel on August 4th, 1930 in the town of
Forest. She graduated from Campbellsport High School.

On August 23rd, 1952
she married Willie Breaux at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. They
were happily married and blessed for 48 years until his passing on March 6th,
2001. On November 29th, 2002 she married Ralph Olivier at Lighthouse
Christian church in Fond du Lac. They shared 12 joyous years together until his
passing on February 5th, 2015.

Marion was a devoted housewife
and mother. Her family cherishes a sweet remembrance of many holidays and laughter-filled
times spent in her house. All who entered knew that they entered a home where
Jesus lives. In addition to working at home and raising her children, she also
worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant at Advocap.

She was a longstanding,
prayerful, and treasured member of Fond du Lac Gospel Tabernacle, now
Lighthouse Christian Church.

In all her long life, Marion
loved sewing, gardening, canning, and teaching Sunday School & Women’s
Bible Studies. She also had a great fondness for reading and poetry. She loved
being with her family, near or far, and saved up even the smallest precious
memories of them, such was her pride her in loved ones. Many years were spent
traveling to or hosting family reunions filled with laughter and far too much
food. Her adventurous spirit never dwindled, even as a grandmother encouraging
her grandchildren to go sledding with her.

She loved Jesus dearly and lived
a grace-filled life, for she knew that “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusted thee.” (Isaiah 26:3). Many
know the hours and years she spent praying for others, for she could always be
called upon to do so. Her life is a legacy to the Lord, and while she is
missed, there is peace and rejoicing, for we know she now is celebrating the
very best Christmas of her life! Her family is deeply grateful and blessed by
the help from everyone connected with Agnesian Hospice Hope, Visiting Angels,
Hospice Home of Hope, and Carole for their compassionate care for Marion.

Marion is survived by her
daughter Jocelyn (Joe) Pacchiarotti, her son Matt (Barb) Breaux, and her
grandchildren Marisa Pacchiarotti, and Tony & Lauren Breaux, as well as her
younger brother Oscar (Patty) Seibel. She is also survived by her much-loved step-daughters
Barbara (Dave) Dupuy, Juanita Miller, Delia (Keith) Guidry, their precious
children, and many more loved and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her
parents, her brothers Carlton (Jean) Seibel, Raymond (Irene) Seibel, and her sister
Millie Eichstedt.

VISITATION:
Friends may call on Wednesday, December 26th from 1-3:00 PM at
Lighthouse Christian Church, 401 South National Avenue, Fond du Lac, followed
immediately by a funeral service. Burial will be at Forest Cemetery, Town of
Forest.

The
words that say it better than any others are those from a song she
long-cherished and sang with a wide smile during her final days:

“What a
day that will be

when my
Jesus I shall see

and I
look upon His face,

The one
who saved me by His grace.

When He
takes me by the hand

and
leads me through the Promised Land,

What a day,

glorious day,

that will be.”
