Marilyn A. Stephany

Marilyn
Ann Stephany, 70, of Fond du Lac passed away Monday, August 7, 2017.  Marilyn was born on March 1, 1947 in Fond du
Lac, the daughter of Theodore and Marie (Krenn) Ewerdt.

On
July 29, 1967 she married Gary Stephany, Sr. at St. Mary’s Church in Fond du
Lac.

Marilyn
grew up as the oldest of eight children and handled responsibilities far beyond
her age, as both of her parents worked outside the home. She was a very strong
and determined woman. Marilyn had an incredible work ethic, beginning her
career as a secretary and ending it as the leader of a global IT infrastructure
group. Marilyn adored her grandchildren.

Marilyn
is survived by children, Gary Jr. (Anne) Stephany, Victoria Schoenberg, and
Lesley Mace; grandchildren, Abigail Stephany, Caleb and Jacob Schoenberg, Kyle
and Lauren Mace; siblings, Cheri (Roger) Gindt, Karl Ewerdt, Donald (Debbie) Ewerdt,
Debbie Ritchie, Gary (Lynn) Ewerdt and Sue (Ralph) Joseph and one
brother-in-law, Jack Schintgen.

Marilyn
was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Kathy Schintgen.

Visitation: The family will welcome
relatives and friends on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the Zacherl Funeral Home,
875 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac, from 4:00 until 5:45 PM.

Services:  Cremation
has taken place and a Memorial Service
will be celebrated at Zacherl Funeral Home at 6:00 PM.
