Marilyn H. Marquardt
Marilyn H.
Marquardt, 67, passed away at home on February 11th, 2017. She was
born in Hinsdale, IL, a daughter of Maurice and Marian (Strong) Smith. Marilyn
received her Bachelor’s Degree from UW-Whitewater and her Master’s Degree from
UW-Madison. On May 15th, 1976, she married Jon Marquardt in Downer’s
Grove, IL.
Marilyn
always had a special place in her heart for babies, which was the motivation
for her nursing degree and eventual career teaching other nursing students. She
enjoyed quilting and photography.
Marilyn is
survived by her daughters, Katie and Amy Marquardt, two brothers, David and
Mick, nieces, nephews and many friends. Marilyn was preceded in death by her
husband, Jon, in 2006, her sister, Nancy and her parents.
Visitation:
Marilyn’s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, February 17th,
2017 at the Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division St., Fond du Lac, from 4:00
to 5:45 PM.
Service: A
funeral service will be celebrated on Friday following visitation, at the
funeral home at 6:00 PM.
