Marilyn Stewart

Marilyn Stewart, 82, of Fond du Lac, passed away on March 2, 2015 at St. Francis Home, where she had resided for just a short time.

Marilyn Rose Stewart was born July 3, 1932 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Irving and Josephine Schmidt Guell.

Marilyn attended St. Mary’s Grade School and Fond du Lac Senior High School in Fond du Lac.

On January 20, 1951, she married Charles Ray Stewart at St. Mary’s Church with Rev. Raymond Fox officiating in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

Marilyn held positions throughout her career at Dalman & Cooper and St. Agnes Hospital where she retired in 1996 after 34 years of service. Marilyn was a member of Holy Family Parish. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and going on casino trips.

Survivors include her husband Charles of 64 years; four children Kathy (Ron) Roberts of Fond du Lac WI, Barb (Jerry) Witt of Barnes WI, Mark (Tracy) Stewart of Mount Calvary WI and Jean (Scott) Woodley of Fond du Lac WI; eleven grandchildren Greg (Jennifer) Roberts, Dan (fiancée Desirae Elsebough) Roberts, Natalie (Joe) Bugliosi, Carrie (Rick) Langley, Jerry (fiancée, Amber Mclean) Witt, Joe (Aria) Witt, Cody Stewart, Casey Stewart, Cayla Stewart, Annie (Josh) Deschaine and Faith Woodley; two step grandchildren Connor and Hunter Kollman; nine great grandchildren Stephen, Lily, Isabella, Briseidea, Abby, Ava, Jay, Brendan and Carson.

She is further survived by three brothers: Robert (Joan) Guell, Kenneth Guell and Jerome (Julie) Guell; two sisters Dolores Treleven and Joan (Steve) Spiel of Decauter TX; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and parents in-law; brother Irving Guell; sisters-in-law Irene Guell, Dorothy Saar and Gwen Stewart; brothers-in-law Milbert Treleven and Harland Stewart and two nephews Michael Stewart and David Guell.

Visitation: The family will welcome relatives and friends on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 9:30 until 11:15 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac.

Services: A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM. Cremation has taken place with a private family burial at a later date.
