Marion J. Kohlman

Marion J. Kohlman, 91, of Mt. Calvary, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at her home with her family by her side.

She was born on October 11, 1929, in Eldorado, the daughter of Richard and Adeline Beduhn Albrecht.  On November 14, 1952, she married Lyneis J. Kohlman, in Milwaukee.  He preceded her in death on August 12, 2019.

Marion was a longtime member of Hope Lutheran Church.  She worked at Infant Socks, and a candy factory in Milwaukee, but Marion’s favorite job was milking cows.  Marion and Lyneis were dedicated dairy farmers who owned and worked the farm for most of their lives in Eden and then Dotyville.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and she was good with numbers.  She loved her family and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and especially her cows.

She is survived by her children: Dianne (Donald) Theusch of Fond du Lac, Kathy (Peter) Keifenheim of Wolf Lake, Rick (Thansinee) Kohlman of Dotyville, Sandy (Jim) Imrie of Hubertus, Paula Feucht of Dotyville, Jeff (Tracy) Kohlman of Chilton and Richard “Dick” Kohlman of Fond du Lac; 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Merlyn Kohlman of Eden and many additional nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lyneis Kohlman, her grandson, Kyle Theusch, her seven brothers and sisters: Harold (Dorothy) Albrecht, Beatrice Albrecht, Lorraine (John) Gillen, Delores (Ray) Rickert, Burnette (Armond) Braeger, Franklin (Dolores) Albrecht, and Yvonne (Laverne) Schroeder; and her brother and sisters-in-law: Ambrose Kohlman, Aleita (Royal) Soyk and Helen (Loren) Hughes.

VISITATION: Friends may call on Saturday, January 23, 2021, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, at Hope Lutheran Church, 260 Vincent Street, Fond du Lac.

SERVICE: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Hope Lutheran Church, with Rev. Phillip Enderle officiating.  Burial to follow at Rienzi Cemetery.
