Mark S. Schob

Our son and brother Mark Stephen Schob, 63 of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin passed away on March 18, 2021 at St Agnes Hospital after a short illness. Mark was heartbroken over the recent passing of his wife Roberta in January 2021.

Mark was born on August 21, 1957 in Fond du lac, Wisconsin to Dale & Joanne (Hundsrucker) Schob. He graduated from L.P. Goodrich class of 1975 and worked in lodging, retail stores including Piggly Wiggly and Walmart.

Mark entered in to matrimony with Roberta M. Fiebelkorn on September 11, 1993 at Sacred Heart Church, Fond du Lac, WI. Mark was a hardworking and dedicated husband and enjoyed working around the house and yard. He had many interests and enjoyed playing sheepshead, poker or pool and shooting buckets and supporting local teams: Packer, Brewers, Bucks and Badgers. He was always up for vacation trip like their trips to Hawaii, the Bahamas, Cancun or a trip to the casino.  

 Those left behind to cherish Mark’s memory include his mother, Joanne Schob; brother, Chuck (Ann) Schob; sisters, Mary (Rodney) Baumann, Marcia (Mark) Dreifuerst, Lori (Todd) Chadwick, Julie (John) Arthur; his four-legged companion Rudii; aunt, Marie Seater, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is further survived by sisters-in-law, Pamela Warber, Catherine “Katie” (Bob) White, Beth Dorn; and brother-in-law Charles (Bobbette) Fiebelkorn.

Mark was preceded in death by his wife Roberta; father Dale G. Schob, sister Theresa G. Kulibert, infant sister Pamela A. Schob, a niece & great nephew, mother & father-in-law Patricia and Robert Fiebelkorn, brother-in-law David Dorn and loving dog Murphy

We appreciate the efforts and care he was provided by the surgical and medical staff of ICU and 4S.

Visitation will be held from: 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on March 26, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 678 Western Ave. Fond du Lac, WI 54935 A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will immediately follow mass at Calvary Cemetery.

A celebration of life will be held for Mark and Roberta at a later date.
