Mary A. Lamb

Mary A. Lamb, 78, was called home and greeted by her devoted husband, Frank, Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, where she had been a resident for the last 10 ½ years. She was born May 4, 1944 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Walter and Marie (Guptaitis) Kaminskas. Mary graduated from Horace Mann High School in North Fond du Lac. On January 30, 1965 she married the love of her life, Frank Lamb at Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac.

Mary stayed home to raise her three children after a short career as an x-ray technician. Her life was not easy, but you would have never known she had a disability. She never complained and was the most wonderful lady always giving a compliment. Everyone was an “angel”, but she was the sweetest angel of all. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her world. She looked forward to a wine spritzer with her daughters and enjoyed all the daily activities at the Lutheran Home, from singing, exercise, and Bingo.

She is survived by her children, Jeff (Michelle) Lamb of North Fond du Lac, Annette (Darin) Garbisch of Fond du Lac, and Michelle (Michael) Brunelli of Fond du Lac; seven grandchildren, Tyler (Jess) Lamb and their children, Harrison, Hudson and Lennon, Adam (Kelly) Lamb and their children, Zach and Jacob, Kyle Lamb and his children, Lilly, Maci, Abbie, Vanessa, and Joey, Kayla (Robert) Bullock and their children, Chase and Brecken, Kenny (Lynnsey) Wallender and their son, Connor, Elise (Chad) Borley, and Alex Brunelli. She is further survived by three brothers, Bob (Nancy) Kaminskas of Rosendale, Wally (Sue) Kaminskas of Janesville, and John (Diane) Kaminskas of Oshkosh; three sisters-in-law, Karen Kresal, Janine Lamb, and Kathleen Morris; brother-in-law, David (Judy) Lamb; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Frank; her parents; her father and mother-in-law, Elmer and Marie Lamb; brothers-in-law, Tim Morris, Rod Kresal, and Donald Lamb; sister-in-law, Patti Kaminskas; niece, Cherie Seefeldt; nephews, Scott and Mark Kaminskas and Dustin Lamb.

The visitation will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 9:00 – 11:30 AM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. Entombment will take place at a later date in Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home for the care and compassion given to our mom over the years and to Commonheart Hospice for being there the last few months.
