She was a member of Faith Alliance Church where she was also actively involved with AWANA, proclaiming the love of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to anyone she met. She was a tremendous woman of faith with a warm and inviting smile.  The fruit of her faith was evident in her love of others; especially for the care she gave to her granddaughter and was the perpetual rock of the family that her siblings  and those she loved could always rely on for love and support.

Mary was a voracious reader and loved putting puzzles together with her granddaughter.  She took great pleasure ruminating on word searches and cross word puzzles making sure that she kept her mind sharp and attentive.  With a quick wit, Mary was a joy to be around and was well known for her delicious Christmas Cookies that were almost as fun to eat as they were to make with those she loved.
