Michael A. Glandt

Michael A.
Glandt, 76, of Fond du Lac,
passed away at his home on Thursday, April 16, 2015.  Michael was born on November 13, 1938 in New London, WI,
a son of Orr and Audrey (Worachek) Glandt. 
On September 9, 1961 he married Barbara Ann Nielsen at St. Boniface
Church in West De Pere. 

Mike was a
graduate of Kaukauna
High School
class of
1957. He then was a student at Marquette
University
and graduated
in 1962.  In 1976 he received his Masters
Degree in Business Administration.  For
38 years he was employed with Giddings and Lewis Mfg. and retired in 2000.  In his retirement he worked part time at
Rolling Meadows Golf Course for the past 14 years. 

Mike enjoyed
golfing, watching the Packers, the Marquette Golden Eagles and the Chicago
Cubs.  He loved his time with the
grandchildren as they played sports or just getting together.  Mike loved his time with all his family and
friends. 

Mike is
survived by Barbara, his wife of 53 years; three children, Lisa (Ron) Prellwitz
of Kaukauna, Laura (Andy Holb) Glandt of Eden Prairie, MN, and Brian (Jill)
Glandt of Muskego, WI; four grandchildren, Adam (Amanda) Prellwitz, Sara
(Danny) Prellwitz, Brandon and Austin Glandt; one sister, Julie (Jack) Ray of
Indiana; brother-in-law, John Reznichek of Arizona; nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.

Preceding
Mike in death are his parents, parents-in-law Theodore and LaVerne Nielsen, and
one sister, Mary Reznichek.

Visitation: 
Mike’s family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, April 21,
2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 271
Fourth Street
Way, Fond du Lac, from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM.

Service: 
At 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 21, a Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated at Holy
Family Church
.  Cremation will follow these traditional
services.

Invitation:  A celebration of Mike’s life will be at the Rolling Meadows
Golf Course Club House on this Sunday, April 19, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.

Mike’s name are preferred and may be directed to the family.
