Michael D. Schibline

Michael Dale Schibline, 84, of Fond du Lac passed away Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017 at home. He was born in Fond du Lac on July 29, 1933, the son of Matthew and Rose (nee Schuessler) Schibline. Michael served his country as a Private First Class in the U.S. Army stationed in Austria from 1953 until 1955. On October 13, 1956, Michael marrried Kolleen Konstance Klosterman at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac, they were married 53 years. He worked as a carpenter until retirement and then worked full-time for the Washington County Taxi until his death. Michael was a member of Holy Family Parish. Michael was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved fishing, playing sheepshead and the Green Bay Packers 



Survivors include one son John (Cindy Fellenz) of Fond du Lac, one daughter Beth Schibline of Fond du Lac, 6 grandchildren: Michael J. (Jessica), Matthew, Bruce Schibline, Alex(Felice) Kaye, Niki and Dan Fellenz, 7 great grandchildren: Cain, Katelyn, Lucas, Penelope, Josephine, Tempest and Riviera, two brothers: Joseph and John (Carma) both of Fond du Lac and many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son James, and two brothers: Donald and Edward and two sisters: Ethel (Bruce) Stinemates and Doris Bragg, niece Mary Uribe, and sister-in-law Dorothy Schibline. 



A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday Dec. 2nd at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 S. Peters Ave. Fond du Lac with Military rites by the Trier Puddy American Legion Post #75 to follow. Visitation will be Saturday Dec. 2nd from 9:30 AM until time of mass at the Church.
