Myrtle K. Yust
Myrtle K. Yust, age 97, a
resident of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2018 at Franciscan
Woods Nursing Home in Brookfield. She was born October 14, 1920 in Van Dyne, a
daughter of the late William and Clara Broetzmann Krug.
On September 3, 1943 she
married Albert J. Yust at Salina, KS. He preceded her in death on August 26,
Myrtle was a graduate of St.
Paul’s Lutheran School, in the town of Forest. She was employed for 10 years at
various garment manufacturers in the area. Myrtle was an avid fisherman, and
enjoyed her flowers and needlework. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran
Church, Fond du Lac.
Survivors include one son,
Roger Yust of Fond du Lac, two daughters, Karen Yust and Pamela Yust both of
Waukesha, WI. She is further survived by two sisters-in-law, Kathleen Krug and
Audrey Krug, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Myrtle was preceded in death
by her husband, her parents, five brothers Melvin, Norvin, George (Audrey),
Robert and Lyle (Bonnie), and one sister Lorraine Gantner.
Myrtle’s family welcomes relatives and friends for a time of visitation at St.
Peter’s Lutheran Church, 1600 S. Main St., Fond du Lac, on Tuesday, April 10,
2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Service: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 10,
2018 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church at 11:00 AM. Entombment will be in Shrine
of Rest Mausoleum – Ledgeview Memorial Park.
