Nancy J. Blanck

Nancy
J. Blanck, age 64, passed away on Easter Sunday April 5th 2015 after
her courageous but brief battle with cancer.
She was born on January 6th 1951, the daughter of Tom &
Audrey (Beltz) Engel.   She was married
to Charles Blanck on November 29th, 1971.

She
graduated from St. Mary’s Springs High School in 1969 and furthered her education at Marian University,
graduating in 1973 with a degree in nursing.
She was incredibly proud of being a RN and helping people.  Between home health care and working at the
Villa Loretto Nursing Home, she believed it was her calling to help and assist
those who couldn’t do it for themselves anymore.  She did this with the love and dignity that
will be talked about for years, making all of her patients and co-workers feel
like they were the most important people in her life.

Nancy’s career was very important to her, but
nothing surpassed her family.  Family was
the most important thing in the world to her.
The love, compassion and contagious smile taught us all to be the very
best we could be, to love and live every day to its fullest.  She loved watching her grandkids dance, play
soccer and hockey and succeed in their educational endeavors.  She was so very proud of all their
accomplishments.  All will miss her dearly.

Nancy was a big part of her small community in
Johnsburg.  She enjoyed being part of her
church, St. John’s,
singing in the choir, helping with the parish festival and events and spending
time with friends.

Nancy
is survived by her husband of 43 years, Chuck; three sons: Carven (Juli), Ben
(Colleen Trepanier) and Sam (Dawn), all of Fond du Lac; seven grandkids: Ali,
Sami Jo, Conner, Noah, Caden, Talan & Mason; her loving mother Audrey
Engel;  five sisters: Bernie Lucas, Linda
(Gerry) Mayer, Sandy Krueger(John Miller), Kathy (Tom) Suprenand, and Gail (Rick)
Campbell.  Nancy was preceded in death by her father Tom
Engel.
