Olive M. Batzler

Olive M. Batzler, 94, of Ashford went to her heavenly home on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Hope Health and Rehab Center in Lomira. 



She was born on December 6, 1923 in the Town of Ashford , the daughter of Joseph and Rose (nee Staehler) Mueller, Sr. 



On June 7, 1947, Olive married Harry J. Batzler at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Campbellsport. Olive was an active member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Ashford participating in the Quilting Group, Christian Women and other activities. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. 



She was the grandmother who could never say no. 



Survivors include her husband of 71 years Harry, children Madonna (Gregory) Drake, Theresa (Bob) Dunkleberger, Jake (Kathy) Batzler, Claire (Dennis) Beck and Tony (Jolene) Batzler, grandchildren Sarah (Hector) Drake Ricart, Saul (Katy) Sopoci Drake, Monica (Joe) Drake Pierce, Teresa Drake, Heidi (Andy) DeNure, Heather (Al) Helsell, Kristy (Mike) Piotrowski, Ryan (Jenni) Dunkleberger, Harrison Batzler, Halley Batzler, Hillary (Scott) Ketter, Jacob Beck, Emily (Nick) Whitty, Jordan (special friend Billi) Beck, Miranda (Steve) Neuy, Melanie (Jeremy) Wagner, Jill (fiance Colton) Batzler and Jared Batzler, twenty-one great grandchildren, siblings Elizabeth Theusch, Leo Mueller, Harold (Kathryn) Mueller and Rose Guell, sisters-in-law Patricia Mueller, Beatrice Mueller and Maryann (George) Weninger, brother-in-law Manny (Dorothy) Batzler, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 



Olive was preceded in death by her parents, grandchildren Chelsey Drake, Hannah Batzler and Dennis Beck, Jr., grandson-in-law Dean Kenowski, brothers Lloyd Mueller and Joseph Mueller, Jr., sister Rita Spoerl, brothers-in-law Edward Theusch, Gordon “Bob” Guell, Hilary Batzler and John Spoerl and sisters-in-law Arlene Mueller, Donna Batzler and Darlene Batzler. 



Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 27th at 1:00 PM at St. Martin’s Chapel, Ashford (N1271 Minnie Lane, Campbellsport). Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and burial will follow in St. Martin’s Cemetery.
