Olivia Mary Henning

Olivia Mary Henning,
96, a resident of GranCare Nursing and Rehab Center for the last four years,
passed away peacefully at the home, on February 28, 2015.

She was born
May 18, 1918 in Eden a daughter of the late James and Isabelle Hamilton Daley.

On May 20,
1938 she married Cedric F. Henning in Eden.

Olivia was a
graduate of Fond du Lac Senior High School. She was formerly employed as a
telephone operator in Rosendale prior to her marriage. She later worked for
J.C. Penny for many years until her retirement. Olivia was a member of Holy
Family Parish, a charter member of Sacred Heart Church and the Altar and Rosary
Society. She was a member of the Homemakers Group. Olivia was very proud of her
Irish heritage, traveling to her mother’s homeland in 1997. She loved watching
the Brewers and ice skating; camping, and bowling, and for many years was
active in election polling.  

Survivors
include her children, David Henning of Fond du Lac, Ross Henning of Oshkosh and
Devra Scott of Fond du Lac, one daughter-in-law, Clara Henning of Fond du Lac, seven
grandchildren, David (Judy) Henning, Scot (Jodi) Henning, Laura Henning, Paul
(Trish) Henning, Michelle (Jerome) Scott, Ryan (Brooke) Scott, Sara Scott,
seven great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Alice Daley of Fond du Lac, nieces,
nephews, and cousins.

Olivia was
preceded in death by her husband, Cedric, her son, Ronald, a daughter-in-law,
Jane Henning and a son-in-law, Michael Scott, two brothers Charles and James
Daley, and a sister Isabel Coet.

Visitation: 
Family will welcome relatives and friends on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from
10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Holy Family Parish, 200 South
Peters Avenue, Fond du Lac.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated at Sacred Heart Church following the visitation at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in
Eden.

Memorials in
her name may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
