Patricia A. Fischer
Patricia A. Fischer, 87, passed away on November 13, 2018 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home.
Pat was born February 21, 1931 in Fond du Lac a daughter of James and Carrie Roberts Hubbell. She graduated from Goodrich High School in 1949 and attended nursing school. On April 14, 1956 she married John E. Fischer at St. Joseph’s Church, Fond du Lac. After 51 years of marriage, John passed away in 2007.
Pat was employed at several retail stores in Fond du Lac and also worked for a caterer for a short time.
Pat was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker who raised six children. She loved entertaining friends and hosting family gatherings more than anything. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors include four daughters, Mary Jo (Thomas) Kraus, Sheila Dilts, Julie (Patrick) Mann and Catherine (John) Rosenfeldt, and one son, Edward Fischer all of Fond du Lac, seven grandchildren, Laura (Ty Swenson) Kraus, Angela (Taylor) Backhaus, Nick (Danielle) Mann, Emily (Jason) LaTulip, Anna Tursky, Caleb Tursky and Cheyenne Teeters and one great grandchild, Skylar. She is further survived by a brother, James C. (Ann) Hubbell of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, one son, David and one son-in-law, Gary Dilts.
Visitation: Pat’s family will receive relatives and friends for a time of visitation at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division Street, on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 12:00 to 1:15 PM.
Services: Memorial services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 1:30 PM. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery.
Pat’s family would like to express how thankful they are for the excellent and loving care given to their mother by all the staff and volunteers at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home and Marquardt Hospice.
