Patricia M. Kiczula

Patricia M. Kiczula, 82, of Fond du Lac, passed away at sunrise on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at St. Agnes Hospital.

 

She was born on October 21, 1930, in Chicago, a daughter of John J. and Bernice Konstantynowicz Sullivan.

 

Pat graduated from Notre Dame High School in Chicago, Class of 1948.

 

She worked at Brach’s Chocolates and later at Bell & Howell where she met the love of her life, Richard.  On October 24, 1959, Pat married Richard J. Kiczula in Oak Park, Illinois.

 

Their journey together took them from Lake Killarney, Illinois to a farm in Rudolph, Wisconsin.  In 1971, the family moved to Fond du Lac.  Pat served as a caregiver to the elderly for many years.  She also enjoyed spending time with her family at home and at their cabin in Northern Wisconsin. 

 

Pat was a member of Sacred Heart Church of Holy Family Parish.

 

She is survived by two sons and a daughter:  Bradley (Wendy) Kiczula of Fond du Lac, Teresa “Terri” (David) Grinker of Milwaukee, and John (Ellen) Kiczula of North Fond du Lac;  and four grandchildren:  Aaron Kiczula of Fond du Lac, Peter (Miranda) Kiczula of Ottawa, Illinois, Brittany Grinker of Milwaukee, and Jessika Kiczula of Fond du Lac.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard on September 6, 1995; a brother, John Sullivan; and a sister Margaret Ayres.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon on Friday, July 5, 2013, at Sacred Heart Church of Holy Family Parish, 200 South Peters Avenue, Fond du Lac.  Entombment will follow in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum at Ledgeview Memorial Park.

 

The visitation will be on Friday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
