Paul J. Kohlman

Paul J. Kohlman, 55, of Theresa passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.  He was born November 10, 1966 at St. Agnes Hospital to Ambrose and Merlyn Kohlman. He grew up on the family dairy farm. Paul moved to Eden in 1985. On March 31,2001, Paul married the love of his life Sherri Martin and resided in Theresa until his death.

Paul was previously employed with Bob Koenigs Landscaping, Gellings Implement and Weasler Engineering. Paul also volunteered doing various weather storm safety classes and was a storm chaser. Paul mostly enjoyed model and real trains, especially working with the Soo Line Ten 03steam locomotive and its crew, now located at the Hartford Auto Museum. Paul also volunteered for DCERT (Dodge County Emergency Response Team) doing traffic control. Paul also ran sound equipment for the country band Ida Red.

Paul is survived by his loving wife Sherri, 4 step children Amy Buchholz of Hartford and her 3 sons, Jason (Mary) Stefan of Hartford and their 12 children, Dustin Stefan of Babcock and his daughter, and Theresa Stefan of Bagley and her son, sisters-in-law Genie Kissinger of West Bend and Mary (Fred) Multhauf of Neosho, his brother-in-law David Martin of Bruce; also his mother Merlyn Kohlman of Eden, his siblings Daniel Kohlman of Ripon, Aleitha Mary (Joe) Marino of Waukesha, Joseph Kohlman of Fond du Lac, Dale Kohlman of Waukesha and Steve (Kay) Kohlman of Fond du Lac, 2 nieces Laura Kohlman of Appleton and Andrea Kohlman of Fond du Lac and a great nephew Alexander Kohlman.

Those preceded in death are his dad Ambrose Kohlman, his paternal grandparents Benedict and Wilhelmina Kohlman, his maternal  grandparents Byron and Eva Gordon and sister-in-law Dede Kohlman.

A private family memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Hope Lutheran Church, 260 Vincent St. Fond du Lac with Rev. Phillip Enderle officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
