Paul J. Letourneau, Jr.

Paul Joseph Letourneau Jr., age 77, of Fond du Lac, WI passed away Thursday July 16th, 2022, after a tenacious battle with cancer. Paul was born in Fond du Lac, March 12th, 1945, to Paul Sr. and Lois (Sanders) Letourneau. Paul grew up in Fond du Lac through his school years until he joined the US Army where he served from 1962-1965. On December 31, 1976, Paul married Janet Storke where they resided in Fond du Lac up until Paul’s death.

Paul was a man of strong heart. He was the first anyone would call if they needed help. He was also a man with a sincere love of family, gardening, deer hunting, politics, and relaxing evenings in his outdoor cave with a good martini. All of which were never short of good jokes, laughter and memories that will forever be in our hearts.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Janet; his children, Paul (Rachel Borden) Letourneau III, and Rebecca Letourneau; his grandchildren, Trevor, Taylor, Abrah, and Keegan; his brother, Thomas (Gail Simon) Letourneau; his sisters, Andrea Blalock, and Patricia (Anthony) Loehr; brothers-in-law, Paul Immel, and Jerry (Sharon) Storke; sister-in-law, Joan (Mark) Luther. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding Paul in death were his parents, Paul Sr. and Lois Letourneau; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Arden and Bernice Storke; brother-in-law, John Blalock, and sister-in-law, Joyce Immel.

Paul wanted everyone to know how much he appreciated all of the support he received and how well he was taken care of in his last months.  There were many that went above and beyond including physicians and friends, but the family would be remiss if we did not extend sincere gratitude to Father Justin Weber and amazing caregivers at the Hospice Home of Hope. You touched our hearts in ways you will never know.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 12 noon at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.
