Paul M. Biolo

Paul Michael Biolo, age 29, passed away on October 31st, 2017 as the result of an automobile accident. Paul was born on July 30, 1988 to Thomas and Lynn (Martens) Biolo in Fond du Lac. Paul was to be married to the love of his life, Jenna McCaffrey this coming New Year’s Eve.

Every time Paul walked into a room, he brightened it with his infectious laughter and kind heart. He was often telling jokes and making those around him smile.

Paul graduated from Fond du Lac High School in 2007 where he played on the varsity football, hockey, and track team. He qualified for the state finals in the 100 yard dash and sprint relays, and his team won the high school hockey State Championship – Paul having scored the game-winning goal in the semifinals – in 2007. Paul worked as an Owner/Sales Manager for New Axis Management for the last year, where he worked tirelessly over the last few months to obtain his position in ownership.

Paul loved being up north at his family’s cottage on Gilas Lake. He spent countless hours hunting and spending time with his closest family and friends. His favorite spot in the world was on the hunting land that his brothers, dad, and uncle referred to as “the 80”, and the very spot in which he proposed to his fiancée Jenna McCaffrey. He looked forward to hunting with his future father-in-law in Illinois.  He particularly loved following the Pittsburgh Penguins with his dad and brother. He enjoyed visiting Lambeau Field to watch the Green Bay Packers. Paul, while being a kid at heart, had a soft spot for the children in his family, especially his niece and nephews.

Paul is survived by his parents, Tom and Lynn, his fiancee Jenna McCaffrey and her parents Mark and Lisa McCaffrey. Paul is also survived by his brothers Robert (Lauren) and their children Bennett and Linley, and Brian (Vanessa) and their son Beau, one grandmother Joyce Martens, several close aunts, uncles, and cousins and his pet companions Rainey and Yoda.

He is preceded in death by his Grandfathers, Thomas Martens and John Biolo, his Grandmother Joan Florence Biolo, his Aunt Terry Biolo and his Uncle Robert “Bobby” Martens.
