Pauline G. Harvat
Pauline G. Harvat of Waupaca passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Fond du Lac on April 9, 1937, a daughter of James and Marie (Lubenetzke) Seidler.
On June 13, 1959 she married F. William Harvat at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Church in Waupaca.
Polly was a former member of St. Patrick’s and Sacred Heart Churches.
Polly loved her husband, children and grandchildren unconditionally. She welcomed everyone with her smile, and enjoyed providing hospitality and kindness to everyone. Throughout her courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease, Polly was selfless, grateful and continued to show concern for others.
Polly is survived by Bill, her husband of 54 years; six children, Beth (Mark) Heal, Mary (Shannon) Harvat, Julie Harvat, Bill (Susan) Harvat, CC (Mike) Krolczyk and Michael (Vicki) Harvat; grandchildren, Patrick and Peter Heal, Joe and Molly Harvat, Madeline, Margaret and Conor Krolczyk, Will, Ben and Katie Harvat; brother, John (Diane) Seidler; aunt Ann Chupp, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding Polly in death are her parents, mother and father-in-law, granddaughter Emily Harvat, aunts and uncles.
Visitation: The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, October 7, 2013 from 4:30 to 7:30 PM at the Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division St., Fond du Lac. There will also be visitation on Tuesday, October 8, at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, N2845 Shadow Road, Waupaca WI, from 9:30 until 10:45 AM.
Service: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 8, at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca at 11:00 AM. Entombment will be in the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery, Fond du Lac.
Polly’s family is grateful to her friends and caregivers who showed their love.
