Phillip W. St. Mary

Phillip W. St. Mary, 77, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, October 19, 2018 at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. He was born September 22, 1941 in Campbellsport, the son of John and Delores Behnke St. Mary. He attended Campbellsport public schools. On September 23, 1961 he married Marjorie A. Cardinal at Sacred Heart Church. Phillip worked for International Paper for 44 years and was a member of Holy Family Parish. He was an avid soft ball player, playing over 50 years and pitching until he was 70 years old. Phillip was proud of pitching a no hitter in a tournament during the championship game. He was inducted into the St. Petersburg, VA Softball Hall of Fame. Phillip also enjoyed hunting, fishing, walking, biking, lifting weights, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; three sons, Robert (Mary Pers) St. Mary, Daniel (Chrystal) St. Mary, and Michael St. Mary, all of Fond du Lac; six grandchildren, Skylar, Jordan, Braydn, Bria, Vincynt, and Rhyker; one great grandson, Grayson. He is further survived by a brother, Gary (Pat) St. Mary of Fond du Lac; two sisters, Faye (Guglielmo) Lodi of Lomira and Joy Ann (Willy) Avila of Waupun; sister-in-law, Beverly St. Mary of Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant grandson, Roman St. Mary; brother, Ronald St. Mary; and brother-in-law, Gerald (Arlene) Cardinal.

The visitation will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Sacred Heart Church, Holy Family Parish. Entombment will follow in Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum.
