Phyllis Joan Semenas

Phyllis Joan
Semenas, 83, a resident of Fond du Lac, passed away with her loving family at
her side, on Saturday March 14, 2015, at St. Agnes Hospital.

She was born
May 2, 1931 in Fond du Lac, a daughter of the late William P. and Mildred
LeMieux Rieder.

On November
8, 1958 she married George Frank Semenas at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Phyllis was
a graduate of St. Mary’s Springs Academy in 1949. She was employed by
Richmond’s, Sears as a credit manager, and for most of her life raised her
family and served as bookkeeper for Semenas Excavating. Phyllis enjoyed gardening,
was an avid reader, music lover, liked to knit for her family, travel,
especially to Florida; was a member of the Iris Society, Broken Cinch Saddle
Club, and the Blizzard Buzzards Snowmobile Club. She and her husband were
members of, and faithfully attended, Presentation Parish, and for many years
were co-chairs for the Fall Festival.

Survivors
include her loving husband of 56 years, George, two sons, Ron (Lisa) Semenas of
Fond du Lac, Michael (Leah Stenson) Semenas of Oshkosh, one daughter, Susan
(Jason King) Harbridge of Oakfield, three grandsons, Adam Semenas and Christopher
(Rachel) Semenas all of Fond du Lac, and Derek Faust of Oshkosh,  three great grandchildren, Emili, Clayton, and
Karley Semenas. She is further survived by other relatives and many
friends. 

She was
preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, William Rieder.

Visitation: The family will greet relatives and
friends on Wednesday March 18, 2015, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Zacherl
Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held on Thursday March 19, 2015 at
Presentation of the Virgin Mary Catholic Church, North Fond du Lac, from 9:30
AM until 10:45 AM.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated on Thursday, 11:00 AM at Presentation Parish, 701 Michigan Avenue,
North Fond du Lac. Rev. Joseph Dominic will officiate. Cremation has taken
place and entombment of cremains will be in the Chapel of the Risen Christ
Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
