Ralph C. Neuber

Ralph Charles Neuber was reunited in heaven with his son Michael on June 24, 2018. He was the oldest child born to Gregory and Ottilia (Hanke) Neuber on November 27th, 1930. Ralph graduated from Chilton High School in 1948, served in Korea from 1952 to 1954, and was a member of the VFW.



He married his sweetheart, Doris Freund, on May 17, 1955, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chilton. 



Ralph worked as a cheesemaker for 41 years at Hillside Cheese Factory which later became Golden Guernsey. He retired in December of 1995. 



Fishing with his son, Michael, and gardening were things he loved to do, along with watching the Packers and Brewers. He was the grandpa who cheered on his grandsons as they played flag football, baseball, soccer, and High School football. We love you, Grandpa!



Ralph is survived by his wife, Doris; his daughters: Nancy Neuber of Fond du Lac, JoAnn (Michael) Casper of New Holstein, and Karen (Randy) Kollmann of Burnett; his grandchildren: Ariane and Randy Kollmann, Cody and Corey (fiancee, Eva Lee) Casper; a great-grandchild: Creed Lueck; his sister Marion (Bob) Graney; a brother: Dave (Sharon) Neuber; a sister-in-law: Marlene Neuber; and a brother-in-law: Herb Schreiner.



Preceding him in death were his parents, Gregory and Ottilia, his son, Michael, his brother, Allen, and his sister, Ruth.



Funeral services will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday, June 28, 2018, at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. Friends may call at the funeral home on the day of the service from 4:00pm until 6:45pm.
