Raymond Albert Holz

Raymond Albert Holz, 85, of Fond du Lac passed away on Monday Oct. 20, 2014 at his home. Ray was born on Dec. 9, 1928 in the Town of Osceola, the son of Albert Herman and Irene Vander Griten Holz. He grew up in Waucousta. 

He was employed with Sadoff Iron and Metal for 35 years. Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, tractor pulls and antique shows. He loved going “bumming” and sitting at Lakeside Park. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and quick to give them his opinion of how they ought to play. 



Ray is survived by four children: Ray Snyder of Phillips, Marilyn Ringhand, Kathy (Larry) Schultz both of Fond du Lac and Rick (Bonnie) Snyder of Ripon, grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his mother Irene Vander Griten Holz , his father Albert Holz, his grandson Jonathan Schultz, two infant granddaughters, his brothers Chuck Edward and Albert Jr. “Red” Holz, his sister Marcella “Sally” Horton and his nephew Bruce “Homer” Holz. 



Visitation will be Sunday Oct. 26th beginning at 2:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Avenue, Fond du Lac with funeral services at 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Rev.
