Raymond J. Woznick,

          Raymond J. Woznick, 63, died Saturday, December 29, 2012, at his residence in the Town of Malone, surrounded by his family. He was born August 8, 1949, in Fond du Lac, the son of Stanley and Virginia Barnes Woznick. He enlisted in the US Army in 1969 and served for 20 years with assignments at Ft. Benning, GA, Ft. Rucker, AL, Trippler Army Medical Center in Hawaii, Ft. Sheridan, IL, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, and the Central Sector Military Entrance Processing Command, Great Lakes, IL. He retired in 1989. Raymond was the current Commander of the Wisconsin Catholic War Veterans and Treasurer for Fond du Lac’s Good Shepherd Post #1329 Catholic War Veterans. Raymond enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and playing on the computer.

          Surviving is his wife, Jan, a daughter, Susan (Brian) Bodden of West Bend, a son, Raymond (Julie) Woznick, Jr. of Malone, three grandchildren, Nicole, Sammy Jo, and Jennifer. He is further survived by five sisters, Harriet Edwards of Fond du Lac, Virginia Rodgers of Green Bay, Veronica (Larry) McClory of Fond du Lac, Anne Woznick of Denver, and Mary Woznick of Fond du Lac, and six brothers, Stanley (Carol) Woznick of Madison, Theodore Woznick of Pardeeville, WI, Dennis Woznick of Fond du Lac, Francis Woznick of Denver, Andrew (Deidre) Woznick of North Fond du Lac, and Thomas (Edralyn) Woznick of Austin, TX. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Helen Snortum, and a brother, Eugene.

          Visitation for Raymond J. Woznick will be on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, from 4 to 8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and again on Thursday, January 3, 2013, from 10 to 11 AM at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM at the church on Thursday. Burial will follow in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
