Reverend Walter B. Orzechowski passed away on September 4,
2017 at the age of 94 at St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac.  He was born on August 20, 1923, in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin to Walter and Veronica (Maj) Orzechowski.

Fr. Wally was ordained to the priesthood on May 28, 1949.
He served at various parishes early in his priesthood and was appointed to St.
Anthony Parish in Menomonee Falls in October of 1956. Fr. Wally was appointed pastor
at St. Anthony in June of 1970. In January 1981, he was appointed pastor at St.
John the Baptist in Johnsburg, serving until his retirement in June of 1994.

 

Fr. Wally is survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and
nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

Fr. Wally’s family
will greet relatives and friends on Monday, September 11, 2017, at St. Francis
Home Chapel, 33 Everett Street, Fond du Lac from 1:00 to 1:45 PM.  A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will
be celebrated with the Most Reverend Jerome Listecki, Archbishop of Milwaukee,
at 2:00 PM on Monday following visitation.

 

Committal will take
place on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at St. Adalbert Cemetery, 3801 S. 6^th
Street, Milwaukee, WI at 10:00 AM.
