Richard B. Yockey
Richard B. Yockey, 75, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, July 26, 2013 at his home. He was born on June 19, 1938 to the late Dr. John and Barbara (Will) Yockey. He was a graduate of St. Mary’s Springs Academy and attended St. Norberts College, majoring in history, a subject of great interest to him throughout his life.
Richard was employed as a bus driver for the city of Fond du Lac for some 24 years until disability lead to his retirement. He enjoyed his work and was recognized for his excellent driving record.
He is survived by three brothers, John (Sharon) Yockey of Casa Grande, AZ, Robert of Plymouth, WI, Tom of Franklin, WI, and one sister, Barbara (Steven) Nezezon of Honesdale, PA, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Mary Yockey, sister-in-law Darleen Yockey and a nephew, John Koehler-Yockey.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date with inurnment at the family plot at St. Charles Cemetery in Fond du Lac, WI. Cremation has taken place.
