Richard
D. Schwartz, Sr., 82, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Harbor
Haven Health and Rehabilitation. He was
born August 11, 1936 in Fond du Lac, the son of Louis and Elizabeth Brandt
Schwartz. Richard served in the U.S.
Navy. On November 24, 1984 he married
Hilda Greiner Schmidt at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church. Richard worked for Grande Cheese until his
retirement in 1998. He enjoyed going to
casinos, traveling, teasing his grandkids, and working on cars.

He is
survived by his wife, Hilda; four children, Richard Schwartz, Jr, Robin
(Pamela) Schwartz, Tammy Meyer, and Tony Schwartz; two step children, Gregory
(Liberty) Schmidt and Anthony Schmidt; eleven grandchildren, Derrick (Kayla),
Jake, Alyssa, Tasha (Derek), Ashley, Krysta, Kaylyn, Brian (Holly), Anthony,
Johnathon, and Kayla; eight great grandchildren, Jordy, Adelynn, Deanna, TJ,
Henry, Kylie, Reed, and Michael; his siblings, Pat (Jerry) Smet, Peggy
(Kenneth) Grainger, and Bob (Elaine) Schwartz; his first wife, Marilyn
Schwartz; his cat, Sammy; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; one
son, Terry Schwartz; step son, Timothy Schmidt; three sisters and five
brothers.

The
visitation will be held from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM on Saturday, January 26, 2019
at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral
service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Uecker-Witt
Funeral Home. Burial will follow in
Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
