Richard L. Weimer
Richard L. Weimer, 72, of Fond du Lac passed away peacefully on Friday Dec. 9, 2016 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.
He was born on April 10, 1944 in Chicago, IL, the son of Robert and Eleanor (nee Rahll) Weimer.
On Dec. 18, 1976, he married Patricia M. Harkins in Fond du Lac.
Richard worked in maintenance for the Fond du Lac Housing Authority for 24 years and drove the Fond du Lac County Handivan for 12 years. He enjoyed camping and fishing and he loved his dog.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife Pat, his sons Brian (Paula), Paul (Linda) and Christopher, his grandchildren Stephanie, Brittany, Dallas and Connor, two great grandchildren, his brother Michael (Christine) Weimer, his sisters Sharon (Tom) Bellmer and Carol Schneider, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Sandra Rameriz, his brothers Paul Weimer and Jerome Weimer and his nephews David Bellmer and Tony Blonigen.
His cremains will be entombed Friday at the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery, Fond du Lac.
Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 15th from 4:00 PM until time of services at the funeral home.
