Robert H. Grohall

Robert H. “Bob” Grohall, age 86 years, of Campbellsport passed away looking at the lake he loved on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at his home with his family at his side.


Bob was born in Milwaukee on October 22, 1934, the son of Bernard and Loretta (Liebl) Grohall. He was united in marriage to Judyth “Judy” Gruett on December 11, 1954 at Mount Carmel Catholic Church in West Allis.


Bob worked for Kearny & Trecker Co. in Milwaukee first as a machinist and later as a computer programmer before retiring. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Bob enjoyed swimming, fishing, campfires, dancing, boating and waterskiing with his homemade turnabout skis. Most of all Bob loved the time spent with family especially his grandchildren.


Those Bob leaves behind to cherish his memory include his three children, Bonnie (Allen) Mielke, Robert “Mike” (Stacey) Grohall, and Roy (fiancée Brenda Lee) Grohall; eight grandchildren, Andrew Mielke, Matthew Mielke, Chad (Brandy) Grohall, Sean Grohall, Lucas Grohall, Devin Grohall, Kelly (Jeremy) Hall, and Michelle (Devin) Denton; and six great-grandchildren, Ian Evans, Carly Grohall, Lincoln Grohall, Maddox Hall, Khloe Denton, and Daxton Denton.


He is further survived by sister Gloria McCarty; brother Bernard Grohall; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife Judy on November 9, 2020, daughter-in-law, Ruth Ann Grohall; in-laws Leroy and Lillie Gruett (Hartel), two sisters Bernice (Peter) Sparacino and Nancy Grohall; and brother-in-law, Jack McCarty.


Funeral Service for Bob will be held at 6:00 pm on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Twohig Funeral Home (109 W Main St. – Campbellsport, WI 53010).
Bob’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 pm until the time of service.


Bob’s family extends their heartfelt appreciation to Mike and Stacey, Roy and Brenda Lee, as well as the staff at Agnesian Hospice for the loving care they provided.
