Robert J. Plonsky

Robert “Bob” J. Plonsky, 82,
of Eldorado, died Saturday, January 7, 2017, at Hospice Home of Hope.

 

He was born on May 7, 1934,
in Chicago, Illinois, a son of Robert H. and Virginia Booth Plonsky.

 

On July 4, 1953, he married
Barbara Bruno.

 

Robert managed Boko Station
in North Fond du Lac for many years.  He
worked for C.D. Smith for 37 years, farmed, and was a “jack of all trades”. Bob
and Barb owned and operated  Bob &
Barb’s Concessions for 48 years.  He was
a member of Eldorado Lions Club for many years. 
Bob enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.

 

He is survived by his wife,
Barbara; four children:  Susan (Robert)
Zehren of Cedarburg, Mary (Gib Raatz) Plonsky of Winneconne, Elizabeth “Betty”
(Mark) Rolling of Antigo, and Patricia (Terry) Schafer of Madison; 14
grandchildren:  Andrea (Tom) Barringer,
Kenny Sippel, Jenny (Chris) Bohman, Robert Edbauer, Mark Edbauer, Jamie (Matt)
DelPonte, Michelle (D.J.) Schwartz, Jason Langkau, Justin  Langkau, Benjamin “Ben” (Kristen) Rolling,
Nicholas “Nick” Rolling (Nicole Ford), Brian (Marie) Schumacher, Nathan Schafer
(Mindy Strutz), and Eric Schafer (Kali Robbins); 25 great-grandchildren; and
his dog, Coco.

 

He was preceded in death by
his parents; a daughter, Barbara Ann; his father and mother-in-law, Andrew and
Esther Bruno.

 

VISITATION:  The family will greet relatives and friends
from 10:00 – 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Kurki-Mach Funeral
Chapel & Crematory, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac.

 

SERVICE:  A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m.
on Saturday at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory.

 

Cremation has taken place.

outstanding care given to Bob.
