Ronald Herman Braun

Ronald Herman Braun, 82, of North Fond du Lac passed away Saturday May 28, 2022 at Hospice Home of Hope.

He was born January 13, 1940 in Fond du Lac to Isidore and Agnes (Hochrein) Braun.

October 20, 1962, he married Rosemary Willis at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac.

Ron graduated from St. Mary Springs in 1957. He was employed with the Soo Line and the Canadian National, retiring in 2001.  He was a member of the Eagles, the Knights of Columbus and a longtime member of Holy Family Parish.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, golf, and loved to go to the casino. He also enjoyed solving the problems of the world with his buddies over a cup of McDonald’s coffee.

Survivors include one daughter Deborah (John) Braatz; three sons: Kevin (Lisa) Braun, Timothy (Monica) Braun, and David (Julie) Braun; ten grandchildren: Nicholas (Sarah), Benjamin (Heather), Samuel (Shelby), Jessica (Jordan), Jake (Ashley Brill), Samantha (Brandon), Zachary, Emily, McKenzie, and Kendal; 11 great-grandchildren with another two on the way; one brother and three sisters: Pricilla (Norman) Packer, Leroy (Woody) Braun, Theresa (Edward) Lennop, and Carol Jacobitz (Rich Bruesch); two brothers-in-law: Robert Willis and George (Linda) Willis; two sisters-in-law Jane Willis and Margaret Willis; and various nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary; an infant son Thomas Braun; his parents and in-laws; as well as a sister-in-law Doris.

Visitation: Visitation will be held on Thursday June 2, 2022, 8:00 A.M. to 10:15 A.M. at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way.

Services: A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 2, 10:30 A.M. at Holy Family Church.  Cremation has taken place.

Memorials in his name may be directed to the St. Agnes Hospice Hope Program.
