Ronald James Majerus

Ronald James “Radar” Majerus, 74, of Brownsville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.

He was born on May 17, 1947 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, the son of Arthur and Evelyn (nee Gruenwald) Majerus. Ron was confirmed on April 29, 1962 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Knowles, WI. Ron grew up working on the family farm and his love of animals showed.

He worked for many years at Majerus Farms and cherished the many friends as family. Along with his duties in the barn, Ron mowed many lawns. He had a love of gardening, flowers, decorating for the seasons and collecting John Deere items. He liked to go to church dinners, Dino’s and the Feedmill for the Specials of the Day. Ron didn’t pass up an invite to go along to the casino. He had a great sense of humor.

Ron had a love for his family and was a caring, honest man; he will be greatly missed by all.

Survivors include his brothers Kenneth (Diane) Majerus of Campbellsport, and Gary (special friend Cheryl Grosnick) Majerus of Fond du Lac, sister Lois Majerus of West Bend, brother-in-law Bob Smith of Wausau, nieces and nephews Betty (John) Meier, Mary Neitzel, Peggy (Jeff) Wendt, Julie (Nathan) Wagenknecht and Mike Majerus, 4 great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Loraine Smith, Linda Majerus and Luann Majerus.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 26th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport and on Wednesday, October 27th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Knowles, (W2169 South Ave, Lomira, WI 53048).
A funeral Service for Ron will be Wednesday, October 27th at 1:00 PM at St. Luke Lutheran Church with Rev. Matthew Kuske officiating. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
