Ronald W. Seidl

Ronald W. Seidl, 78, of Fond du
Lac, was called home to the Lord on Thursday, September 17, 2015. He was born
September 24, 1936, in Manitowoc, the son of John H. and Mayme O. Kohlmann
Seidl. He was a 1954 graduate of Mishicot High School. On June 25, 1960, he
married Joan Peck at Holy Innocents Catholic Church in Manitowoc. Ron was a
veteran of the US Army serving from 1955 to 1957. He was formerly employed by
Gateway Transportation as salesman and later worked for Eden Farm Supply and
Knowles Produce. After his retirement in 1996, he was employed part-time at
Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. He was a 40 year member of the Kiwanis Club of
Fabulous Fond du Lac Club where he twice served as President, was its Treasurer,
and was awarded the George F. Hixon award for meritorious service. He was a
member of the Knights of Columbus. 

Ron is survived by his wife,
Joan, a son, Michael W. (Pat) Seidl of Amery, WI, three daughters, Beth A.
(Mike) Shaw of Oshkosh, Mary M. (George) Stacey of Fond du Lac, and Pamela J.
(Keith) Opperman of Manitowoc, four grandchildren, Mindy and Ashley Stacey and
Jacob and Adam Opperman, and four brothers, John (Joan) Seidl of Manitowoc,
Fritz (Kathy) Seidl of Appleton, Dennis (Phyllis) Seidl of Green Bay, and Al
(Judy) Seidl, of Manitowoc. He is further survived by many other relatives and
friends. His parents, his father and mother-in-law, Bob and Mickie Peck, a
sister-in-law, Myrna Seidl, and a brother-in-law, Gerald Peck, preceded him in
death.

Visitation for Ronald W. Seidl
will be on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, from 9 to 11:30 AM at Holy Family
Church, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac. Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated at 11:30 on Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow in St.
Charles Cemetery. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The
family requests that memorials be directed to the Hospice Home of Hope. Members
of Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75 Firing Squad will conduct graveside
