Roseann Del Ponte

Roseann Del Ponte, 81, formerly of Campbellsport went to her heavenly home on Thursday Jan. 15, 2015 at St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac. She was born in Plymouth on Oct. 5, 1933, the daughter of the late John W. and Ruth R. (nee Calvey) Roltgen. On July 10, 1954, Roseann married Melvin E. Del Ponte at Our Lady of Angels Church in Armstrong. They farmed together in the Town of Auburn. Roseann was a member of St. Matthews Church in Campbellsport, the Mission Sewing Circle and the Christian Women. She volunteered with the Loaves and Fishes program for many years and the CYO program at St. Matthews. Roseann enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafting but most of all spending time with her family. 



Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband Melvin, her children Paula (Dale) Brath, David (Sue) Del Ponte, Patrick (Ann) Del Ponte, Mike (Holly) Del Ponte, Ray (Linda) Del Ponte and Peggy (Tom) Gerrits, 19 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, her brothers John “Jack” (Monica) Roltgen, Dan (Carol) Roltgen, James (Mary) Roltgen and Bill (Bonnie) Roltgen, her sisters Geraldine (Joe) Schiek and Therese (Richard) Burns, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday Jan.19th at 6:00 PM at St. Matthew’s Church, 406 E. Main St. Campbellsport, with visitation from 3:00 PM until time of mass at the CHURCH. Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and burial will be Tuesday Jan. 20th in St. Matthews Cemetery. 



The family extends a special thank you to the nurses and staff of St. Francis Home and Hospice Hope especially Kay Tucker for their care and concern of Roseann.
