Ruth I. Scheid
Ruth I. Scheid, 86, of Campbellsport went to her heavenly home on Friday, Aug. 5, 2016 at Cedar Lake Home, West Bend. She was born on June 26, 1930, the daughter on Clarence and Irene (Techtman) Scheid. She was baptized at St. Johns Lutheran Church in West Bend and continued as a member there all her life. She attended grade school in Elmore and graduated from Campbellsport High School in 1949. Ruth helped her Dad on the family farm and worked at Barton Washer and then at Badger Packing before retiring. Ruth enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint and loved her flowers and her cats. She also enjoyed traveling with trips to Jerusalem and the American Southwest.
Survivors include her cousins, other relatives and many friends. Ruth was preceded in death by her mother Irene on Aug. 27, 1983 and her father Clarence on April 22, 1988.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Aug 10th at 2:00 PM at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 809 South 6th Ave, West Bend. Pastor Dave Kellerman will officiate and burial will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Wed. Aug. 10th from 12:00 Noon until time of services at St. Johns Lutheran Church. Memorials are appreciated to West Bend Humane Society
