Sharon J. Lisko

Sharon June Lisko, 84, of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, gained her angel wings on July 12th, 2022. She was born on June 21st, 1938 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Clifford Feltes and Marion Rose Feltes (Doughty). She was always fond of being born on the first day of summer. In fact, if you asked her when her birthday was she always responded, “the first day of summer”, with a smile on her face.

During Sharon’s early years, she cherished time she spent with her siblings. She is preceded in death by her brother John Feltes. Still living is her youngest brother Ronald Feltes and her beloved sister Shirley Trentz.

Shirley and Sharon spent not only their childhood as close sisters but up until her day of death, Shirley always made time to talk to Sharon for hours on the phone or visit even though it was painful to see her sister in the end.

The most precious gifts and accomplishments of Sharon’s were her two sons, Jay Lisko (Samantha Brennen) and Christopher Lisko (Ann Pickart). Family meant everything to Sharon, especially her grandchildren: Ashleigh (Mitch) Hermanny, Karleen (Chris) Chase, Alexandrea Lisko, and Logan Lisko. Whenever her grandchildren came to visit, you could expect them to leave with a brown paper lunch bag filled with sweets. Extended family members who were special people in her life were niece Heidi (Rick) Ewald, great nephew Nicholas (Laura) Petersen. To anyone that would listen, Sharon would brag about how smart and successful all of them had become.

Special thanks to those who helped take care of her when her struggles began; Ann Pickart, Ashleigh Hermanny, Dreanna Schneider, and employees of Milestone Assisted Living. She appreciated everything everyone had done for her.

All who knew Sharon would attest that she was a very kind, generous, and dedicated person. She worked and never missed a day in her 31 years as a JC Penny employee. After retiring she spent most of her time babysitting her grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling, singing, getting her hair done every Friday, shopping, and getting ice cream with her loved ones. There are countless memories of time spent with friends & family visiting, especially over spaghetti dinner. Sharon was a dedicated caregiver for not only her grandchildren but her elderly mother as well. Sharon upheld her strong Catholic faith and is now enjoying her time with God.

A celebration of life and mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on July 18th. Visitation begins at 10am, mass at noon, burial at Rienzi cemetery at 1pm, and a 2pm spaghetti dinner (Sharon’s favorite meal) at Sunset on the Water in Fond du Lac, WI.

Sharon was always a giving person, especially to her children and grandchildren, making sure everyone, even the neighbor’s children, always had a gift for holidays or events. Any donations collected by the family will be donated to Toys for Tots organization in her memory to keep the spirit of giving alive.
