Shirley B. Hagenow

Shirley B Hagenow, age 71, of Kiel, passed away surrounded by loved ones after a brief illness on Tuesday, April 25, 2017.



She was born January 26, 1946, daughter of the late Alfred and Ottilia (Kolbe) Daun.



Shirley married James Hagenow on October 3, 1970, in Jericho, Wisconsin.



Through her life time she had many different careers from part owner of a flower shop to most recently as a cook at St. Peter & Paul School. She enjoyed stitching with her friends along with attending Red Hat Events. She also was an avid BINGO and Card player. She had numerous close friends. She was also well known every year for her Christmas Candy.



Shirley will be missed by the following loved ones.



Survivors include: her husband, James of Kiel; Children: Eric (Heather) Hagenow of Kiel, Roxanne (Boyd) Helmich of Sherwood, Nicole (Jeff) Baumann of Green Bay and Jessica (Brad) Steele of Fond Du Lac; Fifteen grandchildren: Dwayne (special friend, Marloes), Erica, Faith (special friend, Jacob), Nora (James) Lindsay, Mallory and Luke, Miles, Kyle and Kasey, Grayson and Gage, and Madalyn, Abigail, Bailey and Carson; One great-grandchild: Kiya; Siblings: Mary Ann (Alfred) Gooding and James (Darlene) Daun. She is further survived by nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.



Proceeded in death by: Arno and Roma Hagenow and nephew James Popp.



Visitation will take place at Wieting Family Funeral Home, 411 W Main St. Chilton, WI 53014, on Thursday, April 27th from 4pm to 7:30pm with Prayer Service at 7:30pm, and another visitation from 9am to 10:30am at St. Peter & Paul Catholic, 423 Fremont St. Kiel, WI 53042. Funeral services will be on Friday, April 28th at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church at 11am.



Mom, your time on earth has passed however you will live with us in spirit. We will always remember the table talk that we had on special occasions or just weekend get together. You were always one to give us good advice. You were a strong willed individual and always had to have the last word. We will miss you but you will live with us each and every day in our hearts. Love You Mom!
