Shirley K. Gallert

Shirley K. Gallert, 84, of Van Dyne, died on Friday, May 4, 2018, at her residence.

She was born on March 25, 1934, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Frank and Lenore Dreifuerst Cutler.

Shirley was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, in the Town of Nekimi, and enjoyed going on trips with her church. She worked at Lone Elm Cheese Factory and also had a day care center in her own home. Shirley was a very caring and loving person.

She is survived by her children: Mary (Wayne) Wachholz of Van Dyne and Jerome Walsh of Van Dyne; six grandchildren: Cory and Adam Walsh, Sarah and Ricky James, Terra (Ben Miles) Mulholland, Fred (special friend Julie) Wolf; eight greatgrandchildren; and her brother, Dale Cutler.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gordon Gallert and her brother Charles (Bev) Cutler.

VISITATION: Friends may call on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Nekimi, 491 Old Oregon Street Road, Oshkosh.

FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Nekimi, with Rev. James Reiff officiating. Burial will follow in Estabrooks Cemetery.
