Sister Winifred Pfaller, SSSF, “Sister Jean d’ Arc

Sister Winifred Pfaller, SSSF, “Sister Jean d’ Arc”, 96, passed away Monday June 30, 2014 at St. Joseph Convent, Campbellsport. She was born June 12, 1918 in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Francis and Louise (Kowalski) Pfaller. She joined the School Sisters of St. Francis and served her community as a teacher and later in the medical records department. 

Sister Mildred is survived by her sister Sr. Virginia Pfaller, SSSF of Wautoma, her nieces and nephews, and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 77years. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tues. July 8th at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Milwaukee. Visitation and wake service will begin at 9:00 AM Tues. July 8th at St. Joseph Convent.
